Certification

Most people who purchase a Subaru put a higher importance on safety and reliability than any other buyers. Subaru is known for excellent crash testing standards and a stable ride with all-wheel drive as a standard feature. When Subaru released its collision repair program it put a massive emphasis on repaired vehicles maintaining the same safety standards as they had before a collision.

To help meet the requirements that Subaru has set forth, Charlie’s has made a large investment in upgrading and maintaining our spot welder. Spot welding is a method used by vehicle manufacturers to bond panels together. It’s cleaner and produces less heat than traditional mig welding, and is the preferred method when repairing vehicles. This new welder produces a weld under higher pressure which produces a stronger weld. It also can keep a computerized log of all welds made on a vehicle and even let you know when it believes a weld may not have been created under ideal conditions. To meet Subaru’s welding requirements, Charlie’s has spared no expense upgrading its spot welder.

Along with proper welding standards, Subaru requires the use of their software to scan your vehicle’s computer modules before and after a collision repair. This ensures all trouble codes can be read including those related to your Eyesight system.

One of Subaru’s best requirements is, it only partners with shops that give back to the community This aligns Charlie’s Auto Body’s and Subaru’s core beliefs of giving back. For giving back, Charlie’s has mostly supported through youth programs in the area, including recently the LC pitching machines, LHS weight room renovation, and the Rotary Sport Park in bender fields.

The Subaru requirement list goes on and on including specialized Subaru hand tools, lighting in our body shop, paint booth, and inspection bay. We offer limited wait time to start repairs and have one of the best turnaround times in the area to help get your vehicle back to normal sooner.
